Chesapeake 20 Presentation
Galesville Heritage Society invites you to hear from Totch Hartge, who will present a fascinating program on the legendary Chesapeake 20. No boat is more closely associated with sailing and racing the West River than the Chesapeake 20, designed in the mid-1930s by his father, Dick Hartge.
Totch will share stories about the history and enduring allure of the Chesapeake 20, along with family traditions and memorable racing experiences that have made this class a treasured part of local maritime heritage
Genealogical Research at Deale Library
Rebekka Barker, Assistant Branch Manager of the Deale Library, will present a program on how to use the Deale Library as a valuable resource for genealogical research.
Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop to take part in the interactive discussion and explore available tools and databases.
