The Galesville Heritage Society is excited to host its annual Pet Parade on Sunday, October 18 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Galesville Heritage Museum. This family-friendly event promises to be a delightful afternoon for both kids and adults, bringing together the community to celebrate their furry (and perhaps feathered or scaly!) companions.

Registration kicks off at 2 p.m., and the parade will officially begin at 2:15 p.m. Whether your pet is known for its adorable antics, or you have crafted an eye-catching Halloween costume, this event is the perfect opportunity to showcase your beloved pets.

Prizes will be awarded in various fun categories.

• Best Costume

• Best Pet and Owner Lookalike

• Cutest Pet

• Best Behaved

Don’t worry, if your pet doesn’t take home a top prize— all participants will receive a special treat just for joining in the fun! You don’t need to be a pet owner to come out and watch the parade. Join us and enjoy refreshments provided by the Galesville Heritage Society. Mark your calendars so you don’t miss this fun event!

Important to note: All pets must be on a leash and accompanied by their owner for the safety of all participants.
