Welcome to the
Galesville Heritage Society

Built in the 1880s, this building was the home of beloved schoolteacher Carrie Ruthanne Sanks Weedon (1847-1928).

Veteranís Day Observance- All are welcome at Galesville Heritage Societyís Veteranís Day Observance Tuesday, November 11th at 11:00 AM at the Galesville Memorial Hall, 952 Main Street, Galesville, MD. Among the speakers will be Richard Riley Johnson, WWII veteran and author. The observance will also feature many historical displays. Refreshments will be served at the conclusion of the event.
