“Celebrating the Chesapeake 20”

No boat is more closely associated with sailing and racing on the West River than the Chesapeake 20 designed by Cap’t. Dick Hartge of Galesville. On Sunday of Maryland Day Weekend, visit the Galesville Heritage Museum and learn about the design, history and allure of the legendary Chesapeake 20. Original Chesapeake 20’s, as well as their precursor Sea Witch, will be on display. Owners of the Chesapeake 20’s will be on hand to discuss the joy of sailing and racing the 20’s, as well as to answer your questions. Games and activities for children are planned.
